"Rebirthing and Breathwork by Catherine Dowling - it's such a good book with good references and further reading material. Her astute chapter summary 'my self and my ego' on page 32 blew me away." AM This was part of an email that one of my students in the Breath Awareness training wrote. One of the joys of conducting a training is to be part of the discovery of my students - of what has been written about Breathwork, what they experience through Breathwork and the transformation that ensues. This 2017 Spring Training Breath Awareness training is just beginning. There is guided self study, web transmission and a 10 day face to face intensive. I am so looking forward to it. Why not join in?
Spring is a time of renewal. The perfect time to dive more deeply into yourself, uncover more of your potential and learn how to be and act from a different more empowered place.
This training in Breath Awareness is a combination of guided self study and practice, webinar and experiential workshop. I would welcome your participation. If you would like more information please contact me. Ann Harrison At the 2014 Breathe Australia Conference some of the country's leading practitioners shared why they love the breath. Hear what they say!
You can participate in the Breathe Australia Conference 2016. Find out more http://www.australianbreathworkassociation.org/ Thank you to the many respondents that took the time to share with us their experience and opinions of Breathwork. It is truly so encouraging to see what you think and how supportive you are - and how that support has grown over the last 5 years I have made the full survey available to you to download. Here are some of the highlights and comparisons between the 2010 survey and now, 2015. The Australian Breathwork community is small. In 2010 50 people completed the survey. This year there were 63. There has always been overwhelming support for Australian government accredited trainings. In 2010 - 93%; in 2015 - 96%. In answering the question: Would you prefer to have a Breathwork practitioner to have undergone government accredited trainings? In 2010, 80% replied yes; in 2015 an increase to 88% This result is truly encouraging. If you are already working as a Breathwork practitioner you might consider, in the light of this, that it is worthwhile to inquire about obtaining an Australian government recognised qualification through the Recognition of Prior Learning process. Breathwork is extraordinary and we, at BTI, are committed to making it more available and integrated into the Australian vocational education system. 100% of people agree that Breathwork training must be thorough and we believe that this is what we offer. Breathwork Trainings is now offering a Diploma in Breathwork, please see schedule. More information coming soon. Or ring 0403 823 636 Ann Harrison, Trainer and Director at Breathwork Trainings
Breathwork is about living your life creatively.
Greg Hales, a BTI graduate at Certificate III and Certificate IV levels has recently won international awards that recognised his creativity and care for the environment. Greg invented the Composting Cannon - an ingenious way of taking your compost directly to the place in your garden that it is most needed. You can find out more about it at http://www.compostingcannon.com.au/ Or listen to Greg talk about the relationship between Breathwork and his creation Autumn Retreat 6-13 April 2019 -The threshold times of the Solstice always causes me to pause and reflect on the past and prepare for the future. In our southern hemisphere the summer Solistice coincides which the celebration of Christmas and the new calendar year.
This coming autumn retreat will be unique. Participants will have the opportunity to experience
Robyn is the renowned author of Being Born - How your birth affects your learning, performance, lifestyle and relationships: A Handbook” She practises a very traditional form of Rebirthing Breathwork. She will cover theoretically and experientially the areas of the unconscious death urge, debilitating memory from a past lifetime, fragmented soul self, unresolved birth trauma. Ann developed her trainings at the Tai Tan Centre that she created in the Hong Kong countryside, after having lived in Shanghai in order to pursue her study of Chinese martial arts and philosophy. She developed ways of describing the ancient paradigms of wholeness and the processes that an individual may use to return to that state of oneness.. As I write this on 23 December the April 2019 Autumn retreat is half full. For practising Breathwork professionals it is an ideal way to upgrade your professional knowledge and skills. For those who have experienced that power of the breath it is a way of diving more deeply into yourself and the power within. Contact us as soon as possible to ensure your place
