Breathwork Nature and Creativity

12/16/2014

Breathwork is about living your life creatively.
Greg Hales, a BTI graduate at Certificate III and Certificate IV levels has recently won international awards that recognised his creativity and care for the environment.
Greg invented the Composting Cannon - an ingenious way of taking your compost directly to the place in your garden that it is most needed. You can find out more about it at http://www.compostingcannon.com.au/ Or listen to Greg talk about the relationship between Breathwork and his creation

Solstice - Birth Death and Rebirth

12/12/2014

Autumn Retreat 6-13 April 2019

Picture
-The threshold times of the Solstice always causes me to pause and reflect on the past and prepare for the future. In our southern hemisphere the summer Solistice coincides which the celebration of Christmas and the new calendar year.
This coming autumn retreat will be unique. Participants will have the opportunity to experience
  • breathwork: at least 4 sits and 4 breathes
  • meditation
  • gentle movement e.g. Feldenkrais
  • original theoretical perspectives that Robyn and Ann have developed through personal experience and reflection
Both Robyn and Ann have been working and training others in Breathwork since the mid 1980's.
Robyn is the renowned author of Being Born - How your birth affects your learning, performance, lifestyle and relationships: A Handbook”  She practises a very traditional form of Rebirthing Breathwork. She will cover theoretically and experientially the areas of the  unconscious death urge, debilitating memory from a past lifetime, fragmented soul self, unresolved birth trauma.
Ann developed her trainings at the Tai Tan Centre that she created in the Hong Kong countryside, after having lived in Shanghai in order to pursue her study of Chinese martial arts and philosophy. She developed ways of describing the ancient paradigms of wholeness and the processes that an individual may use to return to that state of oneness..

As I write this on 23 December the April 2019 Autumn retreat is half full.
For practising Breathwork professionals it is an ideal way to upgrade your professional knowledge and skills. For those who have experienced that power of the breath it is a way of diving more deeply into yourself and the power within.

The photo is from the Breathe Australia Conference this year. From left to right - Ann Harrison,NSW; Claire Belton, WA; Ghislaine Bouskila, NSW; Rachel Vines, ACT; Suzanne Zankin, ACT. Ghislaine was the conference organiser, the others are part of the newly elected committee of the Australian Breathwork Association. www.australianbreathworkassociation.org.au
2014 was the 21st Australian national Breathwork conference. For the last 11 years it has been known as the Breathwork Australia Conference. It gives practitioner and trainers the opportunity for professional support and exchange. This video I took a couple of years ago.

What Breathwork Practitioners have discovered

12/7/2014

In 2010, when BTI was preparing for reaccreditation of our trainings we survey practitioners - asking a variety of questions.
Here is an excerpt of the results of that survey. It is especially interesting if you are a Breathwork client rather than a practitioner. You can see the amazing results the clients achieve with this modality
